Lynda Tygart

"Solitude":  A Pictorial Study in Bromoil and Hand Colored Pigment Prints. .  First Friday.  6pm - 9pm.  SYNC Gallery in Denver.  931 Santa Fe Drive.

Lynda's first love is working in the darkroom. As an accomplished printer of silver gelatin, she managed to carry this hands-on process a step further by learning to create Bromoils.  It is Lynda's work with bromoil that
brought her international attention.  Her bromoils have been exhibited in Germany, Belgium, France and New York.   One of Lynda's bromoils is now part of the permanent collection in the Nebraska Governor's Residence.

I've always been drawn to urban landscapes, whether it's London or Denver. The architecture always tells a story about who lives there.  Click on "Denver" or "Omaha" to see more.

I love a road trip . . .  Anytime,  Anywhere.  I love a road trip in Nebraska as much as I love a road trip in France.  Click on "Europe" to see more.

Everything has a story to tell.  I love capturing images of things that were once cherished, but are now abandoned.  Click on "Grandma's Farm" or "Opera House" to see more.

I stumbled upon the photographic process of Bromoil about ten years ago.  It's an alternative process from the early 1900's. Click on "Bromoil" to learn more.
